About Us
Sean Lee and John Knoll (both qualified chefs) bring a world of experience and passion to compliment the glorious Yarra Valley.
We have travelled and worked extensively overseas, nurturing a long held dream of opening stylish yet unpretentious restaurants in cosmopolitan Melbourne.
Zartowa soon resulted. The much loved first restaurant in Ormond Rd, Elwood, closely followed by Zest in Food, Brighton and Café Varda in South Yarra.
A “tree-change” beckoned and after experiencing the amazing views at Mt Rael we were soon delighted to become the proud owners of what has become one of the regions hippest restaurants and hideaways.
